Our view

Dedicated onboarding solution, that seems to be developed by people who understand onboarding. Onboarding should be attractive for new employees, and it seems Appical understands. We like the video integration and the multi-language capabilities. No standard solution, organisations can customise to their wishes. That is also the downside. The more tailored content, the more time you need to spend on maintenance.

Our view

If you are a small- medium sized business, and you are looking for a simple all-in-one HR solution, Bamboohr might be a good choice. You cannot acquire modules separately, so you have to go for the complete suite. Onboarding is part of it, with a focus more on the administrative process than the employee experience.

Our view

HROnboard seems to focus on managing a smooth workflow. It will certainly make the life of many HR teams easier. They claim also a good integration with many other HR systems (ATS, Payroll, even Slack), and that is helpful. They seem to focus less on the employee experience.

Our view

Talmundo is a dedicated onboarding solution, with a good client list. They seem to understand onboarding, and do not only focus on a smooth administrative process, but also on the employee experience. It can be tailored to the specific wishes of clients. We like the forms that make adaptation easy. You can also create simple pulse surveys to measure status and perception. Keeping content and workflow up-to-date might be an issue for organisations.
